I now live in Zurich, Switzerland, with my wife and twin five year old boys. For many years I was a video game developer working in Dundee. I also write science fiction, and previously I have, among other things, worked as a research scientist for British Aerospace on flight simulators and cockpit technology, and for Marconi Simulation (Dalgety Bay, Fife) on a training simulator for London Underground drivers.

I combine my mountain biking with my interest in wildlife and natural habitats.
